Raven Sings To The Moon Music Video MP4 File

Details

When we hold something as great and mysterious our reverence for it is not something that we can easily define. It may appear to consume us and yet we never end in our resolve for it. It may have no observable effect yet from the unconscious govern our every movement. The great mysteries are mysteries on to themselves, for us they can be anything the imagination desires or fears and everything in between. Yet for those of us who have dealt with mystery it has become clear that there is some form of order even here, it is not something specifiable except in the indirect terms of the Mystical Arts. One thing is true when there is devotion to mystery it is very deeply rooted providing a sense of connection not easily found elsewhere and it is usually quite satisfying to say the least.

My music is composed of the improvised performances of Native Flutes, a Flamenco Guitar, Tabla Drums, an acoustic guitar, a Talking Drum, Djembe, a Chromonica, a Pan Drum, a Rain Stick and a Lyre.

My influences are also varied, Flamenco, Classical, Jazz, African Music, Indian Music, Sufi Music, Rock and probably even this doesn't completely cover it.

It is experimental music, be forewarned it will surprise you, of course that being taken into regard the rhythms and harmonies are quite pleasing (once you get used to them). Personally I can't stop listening to them. It's rhythms are complex and the harmonies are alluring. I would classify the style as World Music.

I guess the main emphasis of my intention is to explore the mystical through sound, the emotional states that rise when we are under the influence of the different vibrational waves through sound. The animations are to emphasize this visually. Of course all the so called side effects of this dance between the vibrational sound and our awareness are many, I'll name a few: confidence; health; awareness; wellbeing; vigor; enthusiasm; relativity and so on...

Really this music video is a product of many years of listening to music, many years of meditation and many years of mindfulness. The music video seems designed to empty out your mind and hold your attention at this blissfully empty state, all you have to do is stare into the screen listen and concentrate on where your awareness goes. Which image, which instrument's vibration draws your attention until you become totally immersed in sight and sound.
